Skiing:
The skiing resort Solda is surrounded by slopes with 40 km of ski-runs. You can reach the two chairlifts (Kanzel and Langenstein) on foot, directly from our hotel. A new slope connects the Kanzel with the valley station of the cable car (Madritsch). Our slopes are mostly prepared with natural snow. Lovers of deep powder snow will also find ideal conditions. Beginners can reach the beginners’ rope tows on the ski bus, which stops in front of the hotel.

Cross country:
Top quality cross-country courses: you will find 10 km of well-prepared courses across the valley at the foot of the Ortler mountain range. You are guaranteed to enjoy outstanding cross-country skiing on the varied high altitude track (1900 m).
The track runs on natural snow and is prepared from the end of November until April. It is ideal for smooth gliding - classic or skating style - whether to keep fit with friends, or as challenging training. The course can be accessed from the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Snowboarding:
Next to the Madritsch hut there is a “half pipe” and a “fun park” for free stylers. Free riders will find plenty of superb slopes to master on their boards. A special treat is the breathtaking powder snow downhill run from the Schöntaufspitze (3200 m) to the valley station of the Solda cable car (1900 m).

Sledging:
The Solda sledge run is on a slope connecting the Kanzel descent to the cable car. In the evening and during the night it is used for sledging. It is 2 km in length and is illuminated three times per week between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. The sledge run is not very steep and is therefore suitable for all the family. Sledges may be hired from any of the Solda ski hire shops.
